Learning with digital testimonies (LediZ)

What is LediZ?

The Munich project „LediZ“ (Learning with digital testimonies) is engaged in the development of interactive three-dimensional German-language testimonies of Holocaust survivors. This form of visualization is commonly known as “hologram”.

At the Leibniz Supercomputing Centre of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities, visitors have the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the survivors’ life stories and to pose questions to the interactive testimonies.

The usage of these digital testimonies in an educational context is currently being explored and researched, with the recurring key question being, ‘What does this have to do with me?’
